About the village

North Hill is a conservation village lying half-way between Launceston and Liskeard (located here). It is perfectly situated for visits to both north and south coasts, and more widely into Cornwall and Devon. See our page on local attractions for some suggestions for visits.

There is excellent walking in the immediate area and further afield.

The nearest shop is in the village of Lewannick, two and a half miles to the north west.

There is a thriving village community centred around the village hall.

Trebartha Estate in the next-door village opens its gardens and woodland on designated dates in spring and summer.
